Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of VibeAudits, the website auditing service available at vibeaudits.org (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What the Service does

VibeAudits runs automated, browser-based checks against websites you designate and produces reports describing what those checks measured. The Service acts on your instructions: when you submit a URL, you direct us to access that website on your behalf.

2. Authorization to audit

You may only submit websites that you own, operate, or have explicit permission to test. By submitting a URL you represent and warrant that you are authorized to have it accessed, crawled, and tested by automated tooling, including submitting no data, following links, rendering pages, and, where you configure a test login, signing in with credentials you control. You are solely responsible for any consequences of directing the Service at a website you were not authorized to test.

3. Reports are informational only

Audit reports, scores, confidence figures, checklists, and deployment gate labels (including "Approved for production") are automated, informational outputs based on the specific checks the Service ran at a specific time. They are not professional advice, not a security assessment or penetration test, not a certification, and not a guarantee of any kind. In particular:

  • A high score or an "Approved" gate does not mean a website is free of defects, secure, compliant with any law or standard, or fit for any purpose.
  • A low score or a "Blocked" gate does not mean a website is defective; findings can include false positives.
  • The Service tests a finite set of measurable conditions and does not detect every possible issue.

You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on reports, including deployment decisions.

4. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

5. Test credentials you provide

If you configure authenticated audits, you agree to supply credentials for a dedicated, disposable test account only, never a real user or administrator account. Test credentials are stored encrypted and used only to sign in during audits of your project. You can replace them at any time. You accept the risks inherent in the automated use of any credentials you supply, including actions taken on the audited site while signed in as that test account.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • audit websites without authorization (see Section 2);
  • use the Service to violate any law or the rights of others;
  • attempt to probe, overload, or disrupt the Service itself, or access it by automated means other than the documented deploy hook and API surfaces;
  • resell or white-label the Service without our written consent;
  • circumvent plan limits, quotas, or billing.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

7. Plans, billing, and cancellation

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. Audit allowances reset on a rolling 30-day cycle and unused audits do not carry over. You can cancel at any time from Settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and previously charged fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly agreed. We may change prices or plan features with notice; changes apply from your next billing period.

8. Your content and our platform

You retain all rights to your websites and to the audit reports generated for your account; you may use, export, and share your reports freely. We retain all rights to the Service itself, including its software, checks, scoring model, and branding. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the Service, such as storing crawl artifacts (including screenshots of your website) and processing them to produce your reports.

9. Availability

The Service is provided without uptime guarantees. Audits may be queued, delayed, retried, or partially completed, for example when an audited website is slow, unreachable, or crashes the audit browser. We may modify or discontinue features at any time.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE AND ALL REPORTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT REPORTS ARE COMPLETE, ACCURATE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR ANY REPORT, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF FIFTY US DOLLARS ($50) OR THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THESE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

12. Indemnification

You will defend and indemnify us against claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, including submitting websites you were not authorized to test.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. Sections 3 and 8 through 15 survive termination.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the date above and, where practical, by notice in the product or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict of law rules, and disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida. Questions about these Terms: support@vibeaudits.org. See also our Privacy Policy.
